They finally did the right thing .....

It's not often that I look forward to a wrestling PPV anymore .. it seems such a long time ago that a card genuinely excited me, but this year's Unforgiven did, soley for the reason of it hosting Trish Stratus' final match. Now I've been watching Trish when she first came in as a valet, through to her early wrestling career and watched her grow week in week out into the best female wrestler of the modern era... and it's quite sad to see her retire so early.

Usually when a performer leaves the WWE, they're buried horribly (see Bret Hart as possibly the worst example of being ungrateful). But the way they booked Trish's final match was just perfect. A great match, allocated alot of time, high spots galore and just the most fitting ending as Trish made Lita submit for the Women's Championship with Bret Hart's own Sharpshooter (infront of a Toronto, Canada crowd no less). A really fitting ending to such a great career.

Well done WWE, you finally did the right thing!

But they still let Cena win the belt again!
It won't be the same without Trish.

I'm more scared about what's on ECW this week - 'Extreme Strip Poker' with WWE divas. Eeeurrggh, can they stoop any lower? Is this their response to flagging ratings?! For shame.

And Kurt Angle is now in TNA. Hmmm
