Blinding blue eyes against the daylight...
Woah, it's been a while since I posted here! Appologies for that, work has been quite overwhealming at the moment, and has seen me off travelling across Europe on occassion too.
A month ago I had the opportunity to go to Holland which is always a welcome occassion. Granted, the flight back sitting next to a guy who was snoring before we even left the runway wasn't exactly what I was hoping for but hey, you can't have the world huh?
Monday to wednesday of this week I was in Germany, which was just a fab place to go. Don't be put off by all that goose-stepping and bombing your grannie incidents from 60 years back, it's one nice country to visit! Great scenery, lovely food and polite people! What more could you possibly ask for? Both meals on the night were entertaining, but the tuesday night was particularly enjoyable. With a pint of wine (yes, a pint!) swaying in my hand, we had a night of laughter and chuckles with our german work colleagues.
One thing I have noticed in particular are the differences in how people carry themselves on the continent. For example, I didn't spot one bad blonde dyed, tracksuit wearing, makeup put on with a trowl chavette girl anywhere. Or anyone barely resembling that description actually. Every women I saw or spoke to was very classy and carried themselves with an aura of quality, it was very refreshing to see. And there was me losing faith in the opposite sex... thank you, European ladies lol
Oh yeah, and check out Secret Machines 'Lightning Blue eyes', a fabulous track :oP
Next stop ... Norway!

Truman on tour!
I love Germany. I want to live there someday. I really loved Hamburg when I went. I think the lack of chavs was the icing on a very beautiful cake.
Cool picture too, Sir.
Very rock and roll.
Oh, check out The Organ. You'll like them. They're eighties-synth sounding. I caught their song 'brother' on MTV2's 120 Minutes and it's been stuck in my head ever since.

I couldn't get over how tasty the women were! A far cry from these slapper-filled shores.
Who's organ? Oh, the band Organ? I'm booting up my iTunes as we speak!

I'm working on that CD for you. Got some goodies already. I think you'll like most of them. There are a few wildcards on there.
